Rae Lynn Hooley, LPC, MA
Are you wondering, “Is it time to find a counselor?” You are asking a scary and courageous question; so, I will share a few thoughts about counseling and a bit about me. If something that I share sparks recognition or connection, then I hope we meet soon.
You and your story deserve respect. How will I respect and support you? Through a deep admiration for your uniqueness. I commit to being fully present and attentive so you are truly heard. With respect as the foundation, we will discover the strategies that empower you and that clear a path forward. In my own journey I have received the gift of being deeply heard, so it is my honor to truly listen as you discover your new direction.
It is my joy to support the healing and growth of adults who experience the following: the impact of childhood and/or adult trauma, sexual abuse, relationship conflict, divorce, grief and loss, fear and anxiety, mood disorders, depression, suicidality, substance abuse and other addictions, domestic abuse (emotional, physical and spiritual), unhealthy boundaries, spiritual concerns including spiritual exploration and spiritual abuse, lack of purpose and meaning, adjustment to life changes, self-doubt, value-based confusion, stress, blocks to creativity and the diverse challenges in emerging adulthood. I am a proud LGBTQ ally.
There is no greater joy than supporting a fellow traveler who seeks hope, healing and peace. Give yourself permission to explore your needs and discover the freedom to move into your new, authentic rhythms of life. I hope to meet you.
